Important international recognition for Stefania Raimondo, co-founder of Navhetec, who has been awarded second place in the EIT Women Leadership category of the European Prize for Women Innovators 2026, jointly promoted by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
The European Prize for Women Innovators annually celebrates women entrepreneurs and innovators who, through research and technology transfer, contribute to the development of innovative solutions for society and to Europe’s competitiveness.
The award ceremony took place on June 4 in Brussels, as part of the EIC Summit 2026. The recognition was presented by Ekaterina Zaharieva, European Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation.
The prize highlights Stefania’s entrepreneurial and scientific journey, confirming the value of interdisciplinary research and the ability to translate scientific results into innovation with high social and economic impact.
